Supporters of Baloch Separatists in London

By Sajjad Shaukat

Continued subversive acts in the province of Balochistan, arranged by the anti-Pakistan forces coincide with malicious propaganda against the country and its security agencies.

In this regard, the main aim of India, US and Israel is to internationalise the Balochistan issue in accordance with their secret agenda. In this respect, in connivance with the Baloch separatist leaders who have taken refuge in Swizerland, Sweden, US, London and some other western countries, external hostile elements use media, various NGOs and human rights organisations for false propaganda against Pak Army and countrys Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) including Frontier Corps (FC) in relation to the extrajudicial killings and disappeared persons. As part of their campaign, secret agencies like Indian RAW, American CIA and Israeli Mosssad which are well-penetrated in these foreign entities also arrange demonstrations and protests abroad to distort Pakistans image.

Besides rallies in some western countries, in 2012, a demonstration was held outside the United Nations in Genva on the occasion of the 19th Session of UN Human Rights Council to condemn the human rights violations in Balochistan. The demonstrators accused Pakistans security and intelligence agencies of extrajudicial killings. Apparently, the demonstration was organised and led by Mehran Baloch, Balochistans representative at the UN and Noordin Mengal, but, in fact, it was arranged by the anti-Pakistan NGOs, human rights groups and Indo-Israeli lobbies with American covert help.

For these sinister aims, London has become hub of anti-Balochistan collusion and activities, where the self-exiled leaders of separatist Baloch groups have been living in highly expensive flat. Sources suggest that they have been found to be holding secret meetings with the Indian diplomats. These Baloch separatist leaders have very costly vehicles and regularly visit US, Dubai and Oman. They get anti-Pakistan propaganda material printed in London and use different channels to distribute it in various parts of Balochistan. They obtain tickets for their frequent foreign visits from an Indian travel agent in London, who reportedly receives payments from the Indian High Commission. Indirectly, Indian RAW sends money for all their financial expenses.

However, on July 31, 2011, with the assistance of external elements, a rally was organised by Baloch Human Rights Council in UK, in front of the US Embassy in London, which raised false accusations such as inhuman torture and extrajudicial murder of the Baloch intellectuals by the Pakistani security agencies, while blaming ISI for the disapeared persons.

On August 3, 2011, the former ISPR spokesman, Maj-Gen Athar Abbas, while rejecting human rights groups reports about Balochistan as a conspiracy against Pakistan, called for probing the funding of these organisations as this could be traced back to those forces which want to destabilise Pakistan.

Meanwhile, again, Baloch activists staged a demonstration in London in front of US Embassy on March 4, 2012 to express their gratitude to three American Congressmen, Dana Rohrabacher, Louie Gohmert and Steve King who tabled a bill before the US Congress in February, calling for the right of self-determination for Balochistan, while raising similar allegations against Pakistans security institutes. American government distanced itself from these Congressmen, but the move had clandestine support of some US officials. The resolution has encouraged Baloch separatist groups who are now actively lobbying the lawmakers of the European Parliament for a similar move.

Now, it has become usual practice in London. And under the leadership of Hyrbyair Marri, and especially with Indian support including other external elements, anti-state Baloch militant groups such as Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), Balochistan Republican Army (BRA), and other similar outfits will launch a protest demonstration against Pakistan on March 30, 2013 at 10 Downing Street, London. But this time, as part of propaganda, the scheme intends to draw maximum attention of the international media to allegedly show that Pakistani state atrocities in Balochistan continue unabated, and Islamabad has occupied Balochistan. The protest rally will move from the Pakistani Embassy to the 10 Downing Street. New Delhi has secretly instructed to the Indians to participate in the rally along with anti-Pakistan banners and placards. The protesters will again blame our countrys security agencies for the missing persons, dumped dead bodies, extrajudicial killings etc. in Balochistan.

Recently, Supreme Court, federal and provincial governments have been taking serious notice of the aggravated law and order situation of Balochistan, particularly with reference to the disappeared people. In this backdrop, question arises as to why situation of Balochistan is deteriorating, and where are the missing persons of the province?

The facts behind human rights violations such as extrajudicial killings, dumped bodies, the missing persons and aggravated law and order situation of the province is that militant groups like BLA, BLF, BRA and Jundollah (Gods soldiers) which have been fighting for secession of Balochistan gets arms and ammunition from CIA and RAW. Their militants kidnapped and massacred many innocent people who include teachers, professors, lawyers, Shias and the security personnel in the province. Many persons in Balochistan have also been killed in suicide attacks and bomb blasts, planted by these foreign-backed outfits. On a number of occasions, these insurgents groups claimed responsibility for their criminal activities. In the past few years, they kidnapped and killed many Chinese and Iranian nationals in Pakistan. Besides targeting Punjabis and other ethnic minorities in the province, they also arranged subversive acts in the Iranian Sistan-Baluchistan. In this respect, Tehran had directly named CIA for funding of terrorist attacks.

A majority of the disappeared individuals are also in the detention centres (Farrari Camps) which are being run by Baloch feudal lords (Sardars). With the assistance of US-led India and Israel, these Sardars are fighting for their so-called prestige, status and influence, and want to continue old system of feudalism in the province.

It is mentionable that Pakistans civil and military leadership has repeatedly disclosed that militants along with huge cache of arms are being sent to Balochistan from Afghanistan. In the recent past, Rehman Malik pointed out that during his trip to Afghanistan, he emphasised upon President Hamid Karzai to close Baloch training camps. In that background, Brahmdagh Bugti and some other Baloch so-called nationalists left Afghanistan and went to some western countries. In his latest statement, Rehman Malik revealed that there are links among BLA, Jundollah, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan which have been weakening Pakistan and Balochistan.

Especially, on July 23, 2008, Brahmdagh Bugti told the BBC that they had the right to accept foreign aid and arms from anywhere including India. During the above mentioned session of the UN in Geneva, Baloch so-called leaders Mehran Baloch, Dr Allah Nazar Baloch and Hyrbyair Marri, while interacting with foreign media and addressing meetings stated that for the independence of Balochistan, they would also welcome help from India. Like Americans, they also opposed Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project. Notably, by rejecting US growing pressure and defying the threat of sanctions, on March 11, this year, Pakistans President Asif Ali Zardari inaugurated the gas pipeline project with Iran.

Particularly, Balochistans mineral resources and geo-strategic location with deep Gwadar seaport, connecting rest of the world with Central Asia have further irked the eyes of the US and India because China has already invested billion of dollars to develop this seaport. It is due to multiple strategic designs that the US which signed a nuclear deal with India in 2008 seeks to dismember both Pakistan and Iran. In this connection, foreign supporters of Baloch separatists have accelerated acts of sabotage in the province through their affiliated-militants, as recently Pakistan has handed over the control of Gwader seaport to China. Therefore, propaganda campaign against Islamabad has also been intensified by the external entities. In this context, nefarious arrangements for the pre-planned rally which will be executed on March 30, 2013, is being made on larger scale by anti-Pakistan forces, especially India.

Nonetheless, in response to the Baloch separtists protest, the best way is that patriot Pakistanis; living in London must arrange a similar rally on the same day with pro-Pakistan cards, banners and national flags so as to display to the media that we are all united to castigate the foreign conspiracy against Balochistan.

It is notable that a Gallup survey of the UK official body, DFID, conducted on July 20, 2012, disclosed that the vast majority of the Baloch people oppose the idea of an independent Balochistan. This survey has proved that some external entities have been conducting subversive acts in the province by supporting the minority elements, and are inciting the other Bloch persons for independence of Balochistan.

Why doesn’t Government establishes Writ in Karachi

By Saeed Qureshi

How many more dead bodies, the human draculas want to devour in Karachi? Why the government does not restore its write in troubled Karachi? The governments of both Sindh province and the federal are unconcerned spectators to see the bloodletting mayhem going on. The murderous mafias and monstrous gangs have divided Karachi into various zones and maintain their merciless sway on these.

Their operatives freely and daringly loot the banks, grab the land, occupy the houses, trade in narcotics and lethal drugs and force the business community to pay them the demanded sums of money. If they refuse they are kidnapped, tortured and killed.

The people of Karachi have been living through this nerve-shattering situation for a decade or so. The outlaws challenge the government law-enforcement agencies and kill the policemen and intelligence operatives with impunity. Many prominent social activists and public figures engaged in the service of the people have been eliminated. There is a hair-raising escalation in the bloody feuds in Karachi and there seems to be no let up in that savagery.

The latest gruesome murder is that of an academic, Professor Sibte Jaffar ostensibly for sectarian vendetta. The callous assassin refuse to acknowledge that the deceased professor besides being a Shia faithful, was also a human being and had a family to support. Prior to that grisly assassination, the Director of Orangi housing project and a highly dedicated social figure Perveen Rehman was gunned down. Are the sectarian mafias getting too strong as to wrest the control from the police and law enforcement agencies and kill anyone on their own bidding?

The government with its resources and a huge network of police, rangers and army has remained aloof and from its silence one would be tempted to infer that the power wielders and the political parties could also be behind this tattered social peace in Karachi. One of the strident reasons that would deter the people from voting for the PPP and its coalition partners is the governments utter failure to protect the lives of the citizens and save businesses of this country from killers and extortionists.

On daily basis headless or tortured corpses are found in various areas of Karachi. Businesses and industrial activity is grinding to a standstill as a result of the specter of horror let loose on Karachi by the heinous criminals stalking in the length and breadth of Karachi. There is no check on them and no conscious or planned operation has been launched to stem this macabre piling of dead bodies of the human beings.

Elections apart, the most pressing need is to stop the killer gangs and dangerous mafias from killing the people at free will or in mutual fight for controlling their delineated zones in Karachi. Is Karachi a city becoming like Beirut where similar horrendous environment was in vogue for years together? Even in Baghdad, where sectarian bad blood between Sunnis and Shias has been rife for ages, is no match to Karachis worsening spectacle. Karachi is not a war zone like Syrian cities yet life is equally unsafe in this city as in Kabul, Damascus and Aleppo.

Karachi is burning and the social and business life is turning into ashes due to the utter apathy and callous indifference of the authorities. Who else can bridle these raging orgies of human blood and an avalanche of civil war and from turning this largest city into a killing-field? I have no hope. Let us not wait for the elections as that would take a couple of months more and one can only shudder how many precious lives would be lost by that time.

Even elections cannot be held peacefully in such a dangerous and unstable environment as the rival parties could use the goons to either snatch votes, coerce the voters for the candidate of their choice. There could be shooting and gun battles and kidnapping of the voters on the polling stations. Such sinister happenings could jeopardize the pristine objective of fair and free elections.

4th F-22 P Frigate for Pakistan Navy

By Zaheerul Hassan

Handing over two pusher tugs on Tuesday, Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) is all set to deliver to Pakistan Navy the 4th F-22 P Frigate PNS ASLAT next month.

Also, the KS&EW is constructing for Navy a fast attack missile craft and a 32-ton tug expected to be handed over as per contract schedule. The Navy has also signed a contract with KS&EW for construction of a 15000-ton capacity fleet tanker.

Tuesday saw the KS&EW formally handing over two pusher tugs to Pakistan Navy in a ceremony held here at the Karachi Shipyard with Vice Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Muhammad Shafiq present as a chief guest on the occasion. Addition of these tugs in the Navy fleet is considered to be an important milestone achieved towards self reliance.

Addressing the ceremony, Admiral Muhammad Shafiq said while Pakistans geographical location and geo-strategic environment essentially necessitated building of a strong and balanced Navy to defend the countrys maritime interests; realisation of the countrys force goals through foreign acquisitions only was becoming increasingly difficult.

The changing geo-political dynamics also suggest that access to the foreign defence technologies, particularly in the high end domains, would be either denied or hard to come by in the coming years, said the chief guest.

Accordingly, self reliance has been at the forefront of policies, and it is in this context, Pakistan Navy had been supporting and interacting closely with the local defence industries, particularly Karachi Shipyard, to make a steady progress towards indigenization.

Appreciating the efforts of Karachi Shipyard, the Admiral said Karachi Shipyard had delivered up to Navys expectations and had been a major support to PN fleet for new constructions, as well as, for repair of the ships.

Karachi Shipyard also deserved acclaim for its revival and unprecedented progress during testing times when the global shipping industry as a whole was on the declines, he said. It was well poised to manifest its potential of undertaking major shipbuilding and engineering projects for the country and also for the foreign clients to earn and save valuable foreign exchange.

Recent award of contract for construction of 15000-ton capacity fleet tanker by PN was manifestation of the same. He assured of all out support of Pakistan Navy to KS&EW for its revitalization so that all future growth plans were timely materialised.

Earlier, Rear Admiral Syed Hasan Nasir Shah, Managing Director KS&EW, gave a brief account of the progress of Karachi Shipyard and underlined the projects being undertaken for Pakistan Navy.

He said presently KS&EW was undertaking construction of five vessels for Navy. He apprised the 4th F-22 P Frigate PNS ASLAT has successfully completed all harbor and sea trials and would be handed over to PN in April this year.

In addition, a Fast Attack Missile Craft and a 32-ton Tug are also under construction which would be handed over to PN as per the contractual schedule. The ceremony was attended by a large number of PN officers, engineers and technicians of Karachi Shipyard.

The design, drawing and kit of material for the two pusher tugs had been supplied by the Damen Shipyards of Holland.

In fact, Pakistan Navy modernization will enable her to defend effectively the country coastal boundaries.

Propaganda against Pakistan’s Ideology

By Sajjad Shaukat:

Straightforwardly speaking, subversive activities arranged by the Indian secret agency, RAW in connivance with American CIA and Israeli Mossad inside Pakistan coincides with the propaganda launched by the US, some western countries and India. In this regard, high officials and media of these countries manipulate every terror attack to tarnish the image of Pakistan. For example, Pakistans civil and military leadership, all the political and religious parties had strongly condemned Taliban for the failed assault on Malala Yousufzai. But US-led these countries, especially India left no stone unturned in exploiting the incident in connection with Talibanisation of Pakistan.

Now, their media have also started distorting Pakistans history. In this respect, a book titled, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman: The Unfinished Memoirs written by the Bengali leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as his autobiography has recently been released. While speaking in line of the book, senior media anchor of Geo News, Hamid Mir reproduced its contents in his article, Mujibs Memoirs, published in daily, The News on November 24, 2012. He writes, One-sided history books tell us that Mujib was a traitor who broke up Pakistanin fact, the political intrigues and blunders of military dictators broke up PakistanBengalis were massacred and their women were raped.

Notably, a renowned Bengali journalist Sarmila Bose authored a book, Dead Reckoning: Memories of the 1971 Bangladesh War. While countering exaggerations of the Indian and Bengali Journalists, Bose argues that the number of Bengalis killed in 1971 was not three million, but around 50,000 while Bengalis were equally involved in the bloodshed of non-Bengalis, and their women were raped.

In fact, before the 1971 war, Mujibur Rahman was in contacts with Indian rulers and training camps of Mukti Bahini, established by Indian army and RAW. Therefore, when East Pakistan was occupied by Indian Army, Majib stated with pleasure that his 24 years old dream of an independent Bangladesh had been fulfilled.

However, foreign entities have taken a new turn of propaganda, showing ill-conceived thoughts against the idealogy of Pakistan. In this context, under the Confidence Building Measures (CBMs), Indian propagandists visited Pakistani educational institutions and criticised countrys curriculum labeling it hate-spreading contents against India. While favouring Indian point of view unilaterally, US-based magazine, The Christian Science Monitor published a story on February 28, 2013, titled Pakistan text books raise debate about curriculum of hate. It writes that in a suburban high school of Islamabad, ninth-graders are taught Pakistani history with an oblique angle vision.

As regards the migration of 1947, the magazine explained that students are taught: Caravans on the way to Pakistan were attacked by Hindus and Sikhs. Not a single Muslim was left alive in trains coming to Pakistan. While quoting Pakistani historian Mubarak Ali, it indicated that it was a one sided story and that actually it was an Indian reaction to Pakistani attacks on Hindu and Sikhs. The magazine also quoted, another historian, Abdul Hameed Nayyar, who targeted the Pakistan text books in similar tone saying, these try to create and define Pakistani nationalism in a very narrow sensein term of an Islamic identity.

But anti-Pakistan and self-created approach of The Christian Science Monitor was clearly exposed when it wrote, across Pakistan, government-sanctioned school text books contain blatantly anti-religious-minority and anti-Western materialmany people are worried that the curriculum is fueling intolerance, especially among youthsleading to violent behavior and even sympathy for the Taliban.

Nevertheless, we need to know the historical facts with reference to the above false propaganda, as its aim is to stimulate skepticism about the ideology of Pakistan.

During the British rule, Hindus which were in majority in India dominated Muslims in every field. The Hindus demanded that Urdu should be written in Hindi Script instead of Persian script. The Indian National Congress which claimed to represent all communities, oppressed all Muslim ideas and supported the Hindus. In 1905, the partition of Bengal ensured a number of political benefits for the Muslims but the Hindus launched an agitation against the partition which was annulled. Taking cognizance of Hindu injustices, in 1906, a Muslim deputation met Viceroy Lord Minto and demanded the right of separate electorate for Muslims. Afterwards, in various political reforms, the separate electorate was maintained for Muslims, which endorsed the two nation theory.

The two nation theory means the cultural, religious, economic and social dissimilarities between Hindus and Muslims. These differences of outlook, in fact, were greatly instrumental in giving rise to two distinct political ideologies. Despite living together for centuries, Muslims maintained their individual culture and civilization.

Sir Syed Ahmed Khan who was pioneer of the two nation theory advised the Muslims not to join Congress. Allama Iqbal said in 1930, India is a continent of human beings belonging to different languages and professing different religionsI, therefore, demand the formation of consolidated Muslim state in the best interests of the Muslims of India and Islam.

It was due to the obstinacy of Congress which rejected the genuine demands of the Indian Muslims that Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was compelled to leave Congress. He advocated the two nation theory by declaring that Muslims needed a separate state to protect their rights. Jinnah came to believe that Muslims and Hindus were distinct nations with unbridgeable differences. In All India Muslim Leagues annual session at Lahore in 1940, the Pakistan Resolution was adopted as the main goal of the party.

Indian Congress had refused to recognise an independent Pakistan. Therefore, during partition, thousands of armless Muslims, migrating to Pakistan were massacred by the brutal attacks conducted by Indian armed gangs. They were tortured to death; their women were raped, caravans were looted and several Muslims disappeared.

No doubt, Pakistan became a reality on the basis of ideology which is Islam. In this respect, while addressing the Constituent Assembly on August, 11 1947, Quaid-i-Azam elaborated that he did not want Pakistan to be a theocratic state. He wanted Pakistan to be a liberal, secular and progressive state where the followers of every religion, faith, and sect were treated as citizens of equal status and they enjoyed equal rights.

Islam which does not permit suicide attacks considers killing one innocent person equal to murdering the entire humanity, while jihad is a sacred obligation, but its real spirit needs to be understood clearly. In this connection, 50 Islamic scholars and muftis of the Sunni Ittehad Council have issued a joint fatwa (edict) on February 7, 2013, and declared, Killing of innocent people, target killings and suicide bombingsin Karachi and Balochistan including sectarianism as against the spirit of Islam.

Now, people from all segment of life and majority of politicians including general masses want that a handful of terrorist elements must not be allowed to dictate their agenda and to impose their self-created ideology in the country.

On the other side, US-led some western countries and their media have totally ignored Hindu terrorism which emanates from the ideology of Hindutva (Hindu nationalism). Hindu politics and culture, dominated by the fundamentalists parties such as BJP, RSS, VHP, Shiv Sena and other similar groups have been propagating ideology of Hindutva which is also being encouraged by the government officials. Although, sporadic attacks on the other ethnic and religious communities, entailing Indian lower castes, and especially Muslims and Christians have continued, yet appointment of extremist Hindus in top positions in various institutes, and alteration of academic courses in accordance with the Hindu ideology have reflected the intentions of the BJB and the subsequent Congress rulers. Indian text books misinterpret historical facts regarding Sub-continent and Pakistan. While Indian constitution declares the country to be a secular state, but in practice ideology of Hindu nationalism has been implemented.

Recently, Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde confessed the nexus between BJP and the RSS, disclosing that organised training camps run by these fundamentalist parties were promoting Hindu Terrorism. They also revealed that these parties were behind the Samjhauta Express, Meccca Masjid and Malegaon blasts including Gujarat and Babri masjid incidents.

Nonetheless, displaying unilateral move by neglecting Hindu terrorism and Indian text books, the US-led some western countries, their media like The Christian Science Monitor, and some Pakistani internal elements have been misinterpreting the history of Pakistan, its ideology and Islam by equating the latter with Talibanisation. They are defaming Islam which is the religion of peace, democracy, moderation and human rights.

Hats off to Mr. Asif Ali Zardari

By Ch. Sajjad Ahmad:

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that the policies of education tolerance and stability of the President of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari are proven on right path after 5 years.

There is not doubt that, at least, this time Mr. Prime Minister has spoken the truth and delighted the nation with and only with the truth about the policies of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari on education, Tolerance and stability.

As far as education is concern, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari had made sure that no office of the government, during his rule would be able to develop and deploy the educational policies of the country according to the wishes of Pakistan.

As per wishes of his foreign masters, who in return assured him the security and safety of his looted wealth in his foreign bank accounts, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari gave free hands to their educational experts to transform the nation’s educational system to support the liberal values and religion and national integrity had taken completely off the priority list.

Further consolidation has been done to this Ibleesee educational system by decentralising it. Under the rule of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, the government school systems are further destroyed and free play is allowed to private education systems, which are mostly foreign affiliated and specifically designed on class or ethnic bases, such as those under Agha Khan, Roots, Educators and Beacon House.

After such a hard work has been done by Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, it was evident that these educational policies of his regime in Pakistan will see nothing but success.

Although, a minor (or major) blame could also be accepted by all of us who voted them and elected them to rule this country, established on the name of Islam, execute such a successful educational policy. Who cares if this educational policies of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari suite the moral, national, social or, most importantly, religious needs of the country or not. It was, and we should acknowledge it open heartedly, a successful educational policy, whether it was, or is, in favour of the nation or not. This is completely a separate debate, by the way.

On the second front, tolerance, Mr. Asif Ali Zardaris regime proven itself the best of all. And there is no doubt into it. It was his tolerance, actually a very high level of tolerance, which made it possible for him to complete his five-year tenure.

Even knowing the fact that Karachi is bleeding due to heavily armed political parties in the city, he tolerated. He tolerated till today and will keep tolerating them for as long as he is in office. He knew that one of his ally, MQM, is directly involved in various criminal and terrorist activities, but, for the sake of his “bacha” government in Sindh, he tolerated them.

He also knew that, including his own PPP, MQM and ANP not only involved in killings of each other’s workers (target killing) but they are also targeting other parties and groups, such as religious scholars. He must have been given a report by the concerned intelligence agencies on the daily basis. But he decided to tolerate and tolerated successfully.

He also knew that every single MPA in Balochistan is also a minister, which is becoming yet another reason of Pakistan bashing in the world and this is happening under his own “bacha” government in Balochistan. He decided to tolerate that too and we all know, he succeeded there too.

Mr. Asif Ali Zardari also tolerated ANP in Sarhad province and pleased them with name change, which was actually a step further for the followers and preachers of Ghaffar khan.

Mr. Asif Ali Zardari also tolerated death and destruction in Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK), where more than 7,00,000 Indian army men are given free hand to destroy any house, kill any Kashmiri and rape any of their sisters and daughters.

It is the fruit of his tolerance that today Pakistan is giving business to the same Hindu chankyas, who are killing our brothers and raping our sisters in OSJK.

Therefore, his tolerance will be remembered as long as the humanity exists.

Now comes the matter of stability. Well, if you thinking about the national stability, you are wrong. He never dared to care that. It is about the stability of his own polity and then stability of his growing financial wealth.

Mr. Asif Ali Zardari knew that educated and peaceful Pakistani nation will never be helpful for his vested interests. Therefore, in order to secure his polity and to avail future opportunities of looting more national wealth to further stabilise his finances, he ruined our education system and provided full access to liberal fascists to destroy every fabric of Islami society in Pakistan.

He further strengthened armed political parties like MQM and ANP, including his own PPP, worked fully against the national interests and tried his best to malign the guardians of geographical and ideological boundaries of Pakistan.

Mr. Asif Ali Zardari also tolerated of harbouring Pakistani criminals and terrorists by its enemies like India, Israel and USA in Afghanistan, Europe and America. All these factors have played key role in his stability and in the stability of his looted wealth in western countries.

Hats off to him.

Indian anti-Pakistan role in Afghanistan

By Sajjad Shaukat

A recently released video by Washington Free Beacon pointed out that the US new Secretary of Defence Chuck Hagel disclosed during a speech at Oklahomas Cameron University in 2011, India has always used Afghanistan as a second front and has over the years financed problems for Pakistan on that side of the border.

Earlier, the then NATO commander in Afghanistan, Gen. McChrystal had revealed: Indian political and economic influence is increasing in Afghanistanis likely to exacerbate regional tensions.

These remarks are quite sharp to some of American top officials who had been accusing Pakistan of cross-border terrorism in Afghanistan. During his trip to India and Kabul, last year, US ex-Secretary of Defence Leon Panetta revived similar old blame game against Pakistan. He also encouraged New Delhi on October 26, 2012, saying that India has vital role to play in Afghanistan and it will be helpful for peace and stability in the region, adding, Our new defence policy hinges upon this strategy.

The US which signed an agreement of strategic partnership with Afghanistan, has finally decided to keep around 10,000 troops and six military bases in that country permanently after the complete withdrawal of NATO forces. In fact, America seeks to obtain multiple strategic designs by controlling the energy resources of Central Asia, and weakening Pakistan, China, Iran and Russia.

In this respect, by availing the golden opportunity of the 9/11, India has left no stone unturned in getting its hold in Afghanistan by manipulating US strategy. In this regard, stiff resistance of the Taliban militants against the occupying forces created unending lawlessness in the country which has become a most suitable place for Indian secret agency RAW to implement a conspiracy to fulfill its countrys strategic designs against Iran, China and particularly Pakistan, while achieving collective goals of the US against these countries including Russia.

However, India which has already invested billion of dollars in Afghanistan, signed a wide-ranging strategic agreement with that country on October 5, 2011 also includes to help train Afghan security forces, while assisting Kabul in diversified projects. Apparently, it is open strategic agreement, but secretly, India seeks to further strengthen its grip in Afghanistan to get strategic depth against Islamabad.

Besides, with the cooperation of Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Afghan intelligence-National Directorate of Security (NDS), and with the tactical assistance of American CIA and Israeli Mossad, RAW has well-established anti-Pakistan espionage network in Afghanistan. For this sinister move, a religious Madrassa of Wakhan, located in Afghanistan is functioning under the patronage of Indian officials. It is being used for brainwashing of very young boys who are Afghans and so-called Indian Muslims. Posing themselves as Pakistani Taliban, they have joined the ranks and files of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and other banned extremist outfits. In this context, Indias several secret training camps are also present in Afghanistan from where highly trained militants, equipped with sophisticated weapons are being sent to Pakistans various places to conduct target killings, bomb blasts, suicide attacks, assaults on civil and military installations including religious leaders to foment sectarian violence.

Particularly, RAW has perennially been arranging similar subversive acts in Balochistan through their affiliated militant groups such as Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Jundollah (Gods soldiers) and other Baloch separatist elements. India is also in collusion with the Balochi separatist leaders who took shelter in Afghanistan. For example, on July 23, 2008, in an interview with the BBC from Afghanistan, Brahmdagh Bugti had stated that they have the right to accept foreign arms and ammunition from anywhere including India.

Notably, in the recent years, a series of international conferences were held in order to bring stability and peace in Afghanistan before the foreign troops commence withdrawal from that country in 2013, which would be completed in 2014. For this purpose, US-led developed nations also pledged billions of dollars for the development of Afghanistan. A recent meeting of NATO defence minsters, held in Brussels, decided a sum of $6.5bn for that war-torn country.

Besides, American top officials have repeatedly agreed that without the help of Islamabad, stability cannot be achieved in Afghanistan. Pakistan is also facilitating US-backed dialogue with the Afghan Taliban. Besides, NATO has started moving its equipments via Pakistani route.

Nevertheless, taking note of Indian negative approach, in the recent past, US Senator John McCain reminded the Obama administration that encouraging India to take a more active role in Afghanistan, while simultaneously criticising Pakistan could be a recipe for disaster.

In fact, India wants instability in Afghanistan, which favours its secret goals against Pakistan. But Pakistan seeks stability in Afghanistan, which is not possible owing to Indian presence in that country. Therefore, Pakistan has legitimate concerns in Afghanistan.

It is notable that that Pakistans civil and military leadership has repeatedly pointed out Indian interference, cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan including TTP location there, but US-led NATO and Afghan top officials have taken no action. And Federal Minister Rehnam Malik has openly remarked that based in Afghanistan, RAW has been supporting subversive activities in Pakistan.

Nonetheless, in the post-2014 scenario, despite the presence of American troops on small scale, New Delhi which has been assisting the Northern Alliance against the Afghan militants will not be in a position to maintain its network due to successful guerrilla warfare of the Taliban. Afghanistan will be thrown in an era of uncertainty and civil war. In that drastic situation, foreign donors will not be able to sustain their economic aid in that lawless country.

By showing realistic approach, US and other western countries should realise that unlike India, Pakistan shares common geographical, historical, religious and cultural bonds with Afghanistan, while there is a co-relationship of stability in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which is essential for their global and regional interests. And by abandoning its faulty strategy in this region and double game with Islamabad, especially America must check Indian anti-Pakistan role in Afghanistan.

Shining India: How to control rapes & killings

By Zaheerul Hassan

On 9th March 2013 United States has honoured the Indian23 years old psychotherapist who was brutally murdered after a gang-rape in a bus in New Delhi in December 2012. The young student, who has become known simply as Nirbhaya or fearless, was awarded the US International Women of Courage award posthumously. At this occasion US Sectery John Kerry told the participants of the ceremony that bravery of the lady student inspired millions of men and women to come together with a simple message No more,. We never imagined that the girl we thought was our daughter would one day be the daughter of the entire world, her parents wrote in a message to the ceremony that was read out by Kerry.

In fact, awarding nine women for their courageous actions is not the solution of curtailing crimes against women till the time organizations of human rights and supper power do not condemn and force Indian rulers to stop state terrorism and violence against women in Kashmiris, Maoists, Tamils and Nagaland.

On 31 December 2012, Annie Banerji also mentioned in Reuters Rape Report that in this year on average every 20 minutes in India. Annie further added that just 26 percent of the cases resulted in convictions, according to the National Crime Records Bureau, which registered 24,206 rapes in 2011, up from 22,141 the previous year.

Ghaziabad police chief Nitin Tewari also confirmed that on 7 March in the latest case of sexual violence has a 19-year-old woman was abducted by three men in an auto-rickshaw, robbed her cash, cell phone and gang-raped in New Delhi’s suburb of Ghaziabad. The woman said she yelled for help as auto drove through several police check points but no one helped. The suspects threw her out near a highway after assaulting her in a secluded area, police said.

Media have compared the incident to the fatal gang rape of a 23-year-old medical student in December that sparked massive street protests and demands for stricter laws against sexual assault, which has a high incidence rate in India.

According to the NDTV, report in the same week , three-year and 12 years old girls were l was kidnapped and raped in the southern state of Kerala and in a school in the central city of Nagpur.

Notably, in most of the cases girls under 18 have been raped and assaulted sexually just in India capital in the last week of February 2013.

On 10 February 2013, New Indian express initiated a very alarming picture of Indian society. The report reveals that domestic, local intellectuals and writers, the Western media has almost declared India as a semi-barbaric society. And now the world is asking whether India is a nation of rapists and killers of women. Only facts, not words, can answer this question. The report further states, What a certificate for a rising India that the National Intelligence Council of the US in its report released four days before the Delhi rape had predicted India to become one of the three world powers by 2030

In fact, Indian society is probably devoid of senses of cultural society and Western Media has opined that rapes are something that only happens in India. In this connection, BBC reports is also very shocking in which statics shows that a woman is raped in Delhi every 14 hours, which equates to 625 a year, in England and Wales which has a population 3.5 times that of Delhi, the proportion is four time larger: 9,509 against Delhis 625.

On 5 August 2012, Gitika Sharma 23 former air hostess has committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Ashok Vihar in North-West Delhi. According to the reports late Gitika Sharma has named Haryana minister Gopal Kanda in her suicide note. The police confirmed in their investigations that allegations leveled against the minister. According to the Gitika friend, she has been even asked to establish sexual relations by the minister. The girls family too alleges that she was mentally and physically tortured by Mr Kanda.

It is mentionable here that very sexual harassment has become a very common phenomenon in India as compare to others Asian countries. 24% self staff of female gender has carried out suicide because of sexual abuses.

The Indian Army too has been rocked by series of corruption and discipline cases in recent years, with land, liquor, sex, and other scams involving General officers. Even females working in armed forces have been sexually assaulted. In this connection, numbers of cases have been registered by their seniors and colleagues.

Indian media reported that females along either side of Indo-Myanmar, Indo- Bangladesh and Indo-Nepal borders are also victims of forced rapes by frustrating Indian soldiers. It is high time that over 20 senior officers (Brig or above) faced charges of corruption, moral turpitude in past 4 years.

Maj Gen AK Lal, dismissed after proven guilty of sexually assault a junior woman officer. In Jul 09 Capt Poonam, ASC, has alleged 3 officers for mental sexual harassment. But unfortunately the same lady has been thrown out of army. Again on 03 Jun 10, Engr-in-Chief Lt Gen Nanda, was asked by Indian Army chief to quit on molesting the wife of his Tech Sectary but Gen has been made clear through local type inquiry.

Analysis of above mentioned cases reveals that so called pro-westerns minded scholars and pundits of bollywood are promoting violence through screen, print and electronic media. Poor people and young generation get impressed from the violent actions and adopt shortcuts for improving the life style and ill satisfactions. Robberies, fraud, sexual harassment against female employees and raping young girls have become the common features of degrading Indian society.

Increasing crime ratio can be controlled if Indian government is willing to pay heed to the actual problems of the society rather than posing glorious picture of Indian masked society. There is a need to take ruthless actions against corrupt mafia of armed forces, intelligence agencies and political elite. Global associations of human rights should condemned ruthless brutality against women and should launch an organize campaigns for protection of women rights in Kashmir, Tamils, Maoists territory, border areas, and rest of India.

2013 and the future Of Pakistan

Since 2008 after the eight years of Gen Musharraf dictatorship this government formed , Nation had high hopes with this government that economy could boast, Job opportunities for youth, Better law and order conditions so foreign investment could come to Pakistan but the last five years are the most dark period in Pakistans history the debt of the government is more than 61 years of countrys history, Economy suffered allot due to energy crisis only in Punjab 1,00000 small and 400 big industry closed which cause 4million unemployment in industrial sector. Sports industry is also suffering main industry moved to Bangladesh and Srilanka which boast their economy and create job opportunitys their and increases our unemployment and government has no policy to re-establish his industry.

On the other side corruption in every department is increasing day by day PIA is near bankruptcy and Railway is also in also in loss. Many corruption cases highlighted during these five years for example Rental power case in which sitting prime minister famous as Raja rental including 16 other persons and Supreme Court of Pakistan issued their warrant, Effederine case in which ex-prime minister son involved, Hajj corruption case , Giving routes to Turkish airlines without any debate which effects PIA business. Most favoured nation status given to India without any debate in parliament or at any public forum is this form of democracy in which only one person is taking decisions.

The criteria of merit of this government is that under metric MNA with JALI degree appointed as education minister is this joke to our political system and already more than 50% of higher education commission grant has been cut during this government, Under metric appointed as a chairman of OGDCL a very important department, Foreign minister dont have any knowledge and experience about foreign affairs but appointed, chairman PPP is selected without any experience or knowledge to running a party is this democracy or kingdom abuse of the system.

The most serious threat we are facing as a nation is terrorism and drone attacks by US government just last year 3,325 people killed in drone attacks we sacrificed more than 40.000 lives in war in terror these causalities are more than 1948, 1965 and 1971 causalities and we lost billions of dollars in last ten years. Recently Us President has given permission to CIA to do as many drone attacks to Pakistan in one year which will cause loss of important civilians lives and lost of infrastructure but no protest from our government or from any political party or from civil society.

We dont have any policy to deal with terrorism and unfortunately government and political parties are not unite on this important security matters. US announced withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014 and Pakistans role is very important in this region, India build five consulates in Afghanistan and they are supplying weapons to BLA and destabilizing Balochistan government has to raise this matter to security council because this is security threat to Pakistan.

Pakistan is main ally in war on terror and why is US silent on Indian involvement in Balochistan which is destabilizing Pakistan what we have get after so much sacrifice. Killings of Hazara community is also a big threat and they protested with 87 dead bodies for four days under -8 temperature than the prime minister came do they have any feelings for people. In recent two bomb attacks in Karachi 40 people killed and several injured and no government official or police reached at the place because a large number of police deployed to chief minister Sindhs advisor engagement and prime minister also attended the ceremony but cant bother to go their and know he is visiting Agmer Sharif on government expense and before he visited UK with his family members as state visit he is not eligible to stay at this post after issuing his warrants from Supreme court of Pakistan on rental power corruption case.

Karachi is a main commercial hub of Pakistan and main central Asias port trade upto Afghanistan depends on Karachi, Last year more than 15,000 people killed in Karachi with the average of 10 to 15 killings daily and no foreign investment is coming to Pakistan because of uncertain conditions closing of Karachi for one day can cause Pakistan billions of dollars. Our government and law enforcement agencies failed to protect the citizens and Karachi is an influence of Taliban, Pakistani Taliban strengthen in Pakistan after the drone attacks many places in Karachi is no go areas for government and they are challenging government rit.

Main question is that from which route weapon is coming to Karachi and in which quantity and who is sponsoring these terrorist groups and wants to destabilize Pakistan. Last week two ranger persons kidnapped who and then murdered and their dead bodies cant identified because of torture who is behind their murder. After the bomb explosion one group shutdown the markets in twenty minutes why government is silent on this issue.

During interior ministers tenure thousands people killed but he is still on post , He is head of security of Benazir Bhutto and escaped from the blast place then why he is appointed as Interior minister of Pakistan, according to his statement he said that big explosion could occur in Karachi in few days then blast happened from which resources he got the information and cant take any steps and also given the statement election can,t be possible in these conditions what is his agenda behind these statements.

Is their any international conspiracy behind to delay election process in Pakistan because government is not able to conduct fair and free elections because of poor law and order situations. Interior ministers statement Laskker e jahangavi involved in these bomb attacks and given 734 terrorist list to Punjab government Punjab government have to clear his name about they have link with terrorist group. Extremists attack on Christian community and no action has been taken by Punjab government and they have failed to protect their citizens.

Threat to the society is the threat to peaceful Pakistan and few forces wants to destabilize the country. Message given through such incidents to the international community is that Pakistan is not safe for any religion and government must have to protect human rights.

Putting Karachi on fire

By Sajjad Shaukat

Protests and demonstrations by the Shia community enveloped almost all the country in reaction to the deadly twin blasts which killed more than 50 people, and damaged various buildings on March 3, this year in the Shia-dominated Abbas Town of Karachi. Next day, Sohrab Goth area of Karachi turned into battlefield with heavy exchange of fire after the four mourners of the burial procession were killed, while several people including four personnel of the Rangers were injured, and at least 10 vehicles were set on fire in wake of complete shutter down strike in the city, plunging it into total chaos. In this regard, on the appeal of Muhttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), shutdown strikes and protests were again held in Karachi and some other cities of the Sindh province on March 6.

There has been no claim of responsibility. But suspicion falls on banned Sunni extremist organisation Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) which has claimed major attacks on Shias in Quetta, particularly of February 17, which killed more than 100 persons of the Hazara Shias on the Kirani Road.

In this respect, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, while stating in the National Assembly on March 5 that four activists of the LeJ, involved in Karachis Abbas Town bomb blasts have been arrested, assured the Assembly that he would present a fact sheet that apart from the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TPP) some other outfits like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi are also involved in recent terrorist activities, while LeJ is openly holding its meetings in Punjab. Earlier, he disclosed that Punjabi Taliban of the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi which had its headquarters in Punjab were behind the terror attacks in Karachis Abbas Town and Quettas Alamdar Road and Kirani Road. He elaborated that the Punjab governments ruling party, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was in an electoral alliance with the banned organisation. Therefore it has taken no action against the militant group. Former Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Masood Kausar expressed similar thoughts on March 5. Notably, in the 2010, Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer (The Late) revealed that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has links with Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

Although various sorts of subversive activities continue in different cities of Pakistan, yet Karachi needs special attention where sporadic terror-acts such as target killings, suicide attacks, hostage-takings, intense exchange of firing between two ethnic groups and workers of political parties in wake of setting buildings, shops, vehicles on fire and sectarian violence have kept on going since the last year, killing more than 2,200 people including several personnel of Police and Rangers.

In the end of April, 2012 in the areas of Lyari more than 20 people including police men have lost their lives as the gun-battle between police and gangsters continued for eight days. The criminal militants had been using heavy-weapons like rocket-launchers, hand grenades, machine guns. Besides these arms, police also discovered anti-aircraft guns from some places. In this context, Rehman Malik had disclosed, There is someone behind the scene who is providing modern weaponry to culprits in Lyari, and militants, belonging to the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, Sipah-e-Sahaba, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Baloch Liberation Army were creating disturbance in Lyari. He told the National Assembly on February 2, 2012 that the aggravated situation in Karachi was the result of a well-planned conspiracy. He also revealed links among these militant outfits in carrying out joint terrorist activities, while the former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had also indicated foreign hands behind the Karachi unrest.

However, in 2012 besides other innocent people, leaders and members of the Pakistan PPP, MQM and ANP were murdered in the target killings, while dead bodies were also recovered from various places. In February, 2012 three Shia lawyers, two activists of the Sunni Tehreek (ST) and a doctor including Baluch MPA Nawabzada Bakhtiar Khan Domkis wife were brutally killed in separate assaults. Especially, the year of 2012 shows that the foreign-backed terrorists who had gone underground for some months due to the collective operation of Rangers and Police reappeared in Karachi.

The wave of various kinds of terrorism continues unabated in Karachi in 2013. Recently, sectarian violence erupted in different areas, killing more than 30 people after a terror assault on a leader of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat and the killing of four men of the group believed to be the Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan.

It is notable that Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan have claimed responsibility for a number of terror-related incidents.

In April 4, 2012, leaders of the three coalition parties, PPP, MQM and ANP attended a joint meeting hosted by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, and they ensured indiscriminate action against miscreants in Karachi. While heads of these parties have repeatedly appealed for peace in the city, so question arises, who are putting Karachi on fire?

In this context, in 2011 when terrorists took the lives of more than 1500 people in Karachi, the city was handed over to the Rangers and Police whose personnel conducted search operations in various phases, and seised weapons, suicide jackets, explosives and hand grenades from fugitives custody. A number of insurgents along with huge cache of arms and ammunition, made of US, India and Israel had been caught.

In this connection, on July 18, 2011, Rehman Malik, while indicating foreign hands in Karachi, had openly stated, Over 200 miscreants have been arrestedIsraeli-made weapons including AK-45 rifles have been recovered from them. Police investigations have also proved that the culprits, who disturbed law and order situation in Karachi, were not permanent residents of the city. In the recent months, weapons of foreign origin were captured, and insurgents belonging to TTP were also arrested.

Nevertheless, we cannot see the civil-war like situation in Karachi in isolation as it is part of various subversive acts, being arranged by secret agencies like American CIA, Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad in other regions of the country. These agencies are in connivance to destabilise Pakistan for their common strategic interests.
These intelligence agencies have recruited smugglers, criminals, employees of the security companies, experts of the psychological warfare, and journalists in order to fulfill anti-Pakistan designs of America, India and Israel. A majority of the insurgents who are committing terror-acts especially in Karachi are receiving training in terrorist camps located in India and Afghanistan.

As regards Karachi, due to political instability, poverty and unemploymentthe jobless youth fall into the hands of criminals who are assisted by the external elements which use them for conducting targeted killings and other violent activities. These internal culprits, some Indian Muslims and insurgents who are particularly backed by RAW have joined the ranks and files of the Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, the Tehreek-e-Taliban, Sipah-e-Sahaba and other militant groups. They have also got the membership of MQM, ANP and PPP. Besides killing the leaders and persons of the rival religious parties, and attaking the offices of the opponent political parties, these are real miscreants who target the Pushtuns, Urdu-speaking people and even the people, belonging to the interior Sindh. In fact, CIA, Mossad and RAW have succeded in creating and manipulating the ethnic, linguistic and sectarian divisions in Karachi through their paid-agents, while leaders of ANP, MQM and other religious sects accuse each other for murdering the people of their-related communities.

In the past few years, aside from gang warfare, criminal acts, violent rioting and target killings, Karachi has witnessed a steady increase with some high profile deaths. Each murder sees a retaliatory attack. The situation has so deteriorated that leaders of some major political parties requested to Pak Army for intervention to save the lives of people.

Notably, Karachi is Pakistans largest port and financial hub with the largest commercial markets, collecting 70 per cent of the countrys tax revenue. So, besides causing unrest in the city, creating instability in Pakistan, another aim of the foreign hands is to cripple the economy of the city as Karachi is intermittently brought to a halt with shutdown strikesmany shopkeepers remain reluctant to open their shops due to violence which is fuelling the flames.

At present, aggravated law and order situation demands a programme of de-weaponisation and detection of foreign-backed terrorists which is essential to curb violence in Karachi. Now, security forces are coping with sporadic battles with the militants in some tribal areas, while our external enemies which are putting Karachi on fire also seeks to engage Pak Army in the city.

Through the lens; Iraqi women, power and resistance

By Hammad Mahmood:

A debate organized on International Womens day highlighted the miseries of Iraqi womens facing day-to-day life after war. During Saddams dictatorship no Political party has a right to form, No womens organization to form work for womens rights, Highlighted womens issues or protest for their rights, Ban on Trade unions to form to protect workers rights and there is o freedom of speech under his regime.

Kurdish people treated as second-class citizens in their own Country and 1991-genocide Kurdish community lost thousands innocent loved ones.

People have no life under Saddams dictatorship and womens faced allot threat in the society and cant move freely. This is the situation in Saddams dictatorship and US Told Saddam was a threat to the world and according to Tony Blair’s autobiography” Highest number of child deaths in the world was in Iraq under Saddam Hussain.”

Thats the health conditions of Iraqi people under dictatorship.

After the intervention of US and allied forces world think that a big change could came to Iraqi community. Iraq is at number 2 in corruption in the world and news are coming they are transferring money to abroad.

Iraqi parliament has a 25% presentation of womens but not a positive work is highlighting for womens rights. Iraqi women activist told the audience that few womens are protesting for their rights kidnapped by a group tortured the womens and given them threat if u protested next time for womens rights u would be gang rapped and if u still continued u would be murdered.

No representation for womens rights in the parliament. Speaker told that no politician cant speak against child marriage its un-Islami, is this not a child abuse to bind child at the age of ten Years in wedding.

Islam is official religion of Iraq but in country representation many religions. Womens are openly writing and criticising against religion, fighting for secular constitution.

First International womens day celebrated in 2004 attended by 1000 people still womens in Iraq facing the problems trafficking, prostitution, kidnapped.

On media presentation of womens in war, No shame presenting war pictures. Life under Saddams regime and life under US and allied forces are same.

Us divide Iraq Shia and Sunni conflicts and in Iraqi society sectarian violence increasing. Oil looted, Museums looted under, typical orientation about Middle East is presenting in media, Main question what representation required in media.

24 hours of broadcast during Ashura but no coverage for womens rights in media educated womens cant do jobs because of heavy bombardments.
