Unresolved Kashmir hurdle in Pakistan India relations

Srinagar, MTT News Desk: In Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK), APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt has reaffirmed the Kashmiris resolve to take the mission of Kashmiri martyrs to its logical end.

Zafar Akbar Butt while addressing a gathering in Chinigam area of Kulgam at the residence of a youth, Shabir Ahmad Mir, who was recently martyred by Indian troops paid rich tributes to Shabir and other martyrs including Suhail Faisal, Zahid Farooq, Basit Ali and Sikandar. He maintained that the blood of martyrs would bring positive results soon and the day was not far away when the Kashmiri people would get freedom from Indian bondage.

The APHC leader said that participation of the Kashmiris in the process of settlement of the Kashmir dispute was imperative because it was not a border issue between Pakistan and India, but an issue of the future of the Kashmiri people. He maintained that Kashmir being an internationally recognised dispute warranted the attention of the world community for its resolution as per the UN resolutions. Zafar Akbar Butt said, unresolved Kashmir is the major stumbling block in establishing cordial relations between the two neighbouring countries.

The JKSM Chairman also expressed solidarity with families of illegally detained Kashmiris and urged the international human rights organisations to put pressure on India to immediately release all incarcerated Hurriyet leaders and activists languishing in different jails.

Zafar Butt was accompanied by party leaders Zulfiqar Hamid, Maulana Mushtaq Ahmed, Maulana Bilal Ahmed, Mohammad Shafi, Aijaz Ahmed, Bilal Ahmad and Mohammad Afzal.
