APHC-M to consult with people over Pakistan visit


Srinagar, MTT News Desk: In Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK), the APHC-M has decided to consult people from various sections of society about its leaders forthcoming visit to Pakistan.

The decision was taken at a meeting of APHC Executive Council meeting, chaired by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in Srinagar, said an APHC spokesperson in a statement.

To make the talks with Pakistan meaningful and result-oriented, the APHC would talk with different shades of prudent people including traders, intellectuals, lawyers and civil society, the statement added.

The meeting was attended by Agha Syed Hassan Al-Mosvi, Bilal Ghani Lone, Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Maulana Abdullah Tari, Musaddiq Aadil and Abdul Rashid Untoo.

The meeting discussed in detail the ongoing situation in occupied Kashmir.

At the time when the political scenario of the world is changing and in the context of the improving Pak-India relations, the Hurriyet delegations visit would provide a chance to discuss solution of Kashmir in detail with Pakistan. The delegation would represent the emotions and aspirations of Kashmiris before Pakistan, the spokesman said, adding that during the visit the delegation would keep Kashmiris stand and viewpoint paramount.

Paying tributes to the martyrs of Jammu, the participants said the people of Jammu region have offered tremendous sacrifices for the ongoing movement.

The APHC also condemned the arrest of Peoples Movement Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Mir by the Indian police in Jammu.
