Liberation to continue till Indian occupation ends

Srinagar, MTT News Desk: In Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK), the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Shah Geelani has said that the Kashmiris will safeguard the sacrifices of their martyrs and continue the ongoing liberation movement till complete success.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to two youth, who were recently martyred by Indian armed forces in a military operation in Sopore town. These youth sacrificed their precious lives for a sacred mission. Kashmiris are indebted to them, he added.

The APHC Chairman also condemned the razing down of three residential houses by the troops with shelling during the operation.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani has appealed to the people to hold demonstrations after Namaz-e-Eid on Saturday, the 27th October, to convey to the international community that they reject Indias illegal occupation of their homeland.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani in a media interview in Srinagar said that resolutions would be passed in all Eid congregations on the day to emphasise that the people of Kashmir would continue their liberation struggle despite all odds.

He said that over six hundred Kashmiris had been killed, thousands of women raped and more than ten thousands people were subjected to enforced disappearance by the Indian troops in the territory.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani said that the presence of tens of hundreds of mass graves in the occupied territory was the proof of Indian state terrorism in Kashmir.

The APHC leader reiterated the Kashmiris resolve to continue their struggle unless the last Indian trooper left Jammu and Kashmir.

It was on 27th October in 1947, when Indian troops landed in Srinagar and forcibly occupied Jammu and Kashmir in total disregard to the international norms and the Kashmiris aspirations
