Geelani warns India against settling non-Kashmiris

Srinagar, MTT News Desk: In Occupied State of Jammu & Kashmir (OSJK), the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Shah Geelani has warned Indian puppet administration that people will come out on streets if it does not refrain from settling non-locals in Pahlgam, Sonamarg and other areas of the territory.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who is also the President of Jammu & Kashmir (TeH), was addressing a press conference in Srinagar, urged India to hand over the affairs of Amarnath Yatra to the Kashmiris.

He said that all members of the Amarnath Board including the Governor of Kashmir were non-Kashmiris, who are conspiring to change the demography of Kashmir. He called for immediate pullout of Indian army from occupied Kashmir.

Earlier, the APHC Chairman in a statement said that Indias stubborn attitude on the Kashmir issue was responsible for the death of three civilians in Uri sector.

Kashmir is recognized as a dispute by Pakistan and international community but it is the stubbornness of India which remains the biggest hurdle in the resolution of the dispute.

“Unless Kashmir issue is resolved as per the wishes of the majority of people of Kashmir, loss of human lives will continue and uncertainty will loom over the region,” he added.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani said that the heavy concentration of Indian troops along the LoC had created a war-like situation in the region.
